Ah, the biography; where to begin and where to end? I could tell you all about an impressive background in managing magazines in an attempt to gain your approval, but I've never worked for a magazine until Sodapop. I was raised on a small “farm” in rural Illinois, and then joined the Navy to get out of town and see the world. After the Navy I moved to Carbondale, IL where I’m finishing up my last semester at SIU in the Speech Communication-PR program. I like my craft beer, the St. Louis Cardinals and a decent steak.

I was born and raised in the Midwest. Travel has been a huge part of my life for the past several years, taking me all the way to Alaska and back. I currently reside on an island in the top portion of Lake Michigan where I chase solitude and hold on to the little bit of it I get. I spend my time working on writing fiction and unearthing fresh tunes. I’m an inactive musician and it’s been treating me well. Professionally, I’ve worked in social services for the last couple of years and I enjoyed it immensely. My biggest passions in life are my writing and my furthering my life with my fiancé.
